The city of Kilkenny is known to have had a witch by the name of Dame Alice Kyteler living here. This is a local artists tribute to her.
Keeping good on my word to draw every armor set I get for Lola. Good thing my progress has been slow! (….) Anyway here is the Gigginox set. I’m not really in love with the design, but whatever. Here is Lola after quaffing an antidote potion because she gets poisoned ~a lot~

About three months ago I emailed a concept for a panel to hold at this years Eirtacon, which is -to my knowledge, Ireland’s biggest anime convention. About two weeks ago I got a reply to my panel suggestion. Honestly I had forgotten over the last three months that I had sent the email. But it was a welcome surprise to get a reply, naturally I was given a reason for the delay and was informed that my concept had bones and that I needed to finished my application. Unless I needed funding to attend, then my application would be longer and all that jargin that comes with getting free cash money.
For the last two weeks I have been going over in my head wither or not I should continue my application. I hadn’t thought about it in three months, all my motivation had left me over the passing of time. I was nervous, and the fact the the panel has to be a minimum of one hour long, scared me. How am I to host a hour long panel about something I now feel that I have no knowledge of? I want to do it, it would be a great experience. But… I would have to do it alone, thinking about it, it’s a bit feckn’ nuts.
After talking to my friends about it, and saying “YOLO*” numerous times. I bit the bullet and sent a reply. Now I wait, and see. I could be hosting a panel at this years Eirtacon, my hands shake when I think of it, but as the Doctor say “the fear will keep you alive” I’m sure he didn’t mean it for this, but it helps. Plus the Doctor said it!
At this point I’m guessing ye want to know what my panel consent is. Well its “How can we reduce the number of people pirating anime and manga” I’m gonna try to flesh it out to be more than that, its too vague for my liking and I don’t know how to stop people, I can only suggest things. I want to try and make it more of a discussion, but we shall see if I get approved to do it or not. Before I get really bogged down and have to work on my script, and all that larky.
So I leave this last bit to ye, how do ye think we can help reduce the amount of people priating anime and manga? If I am not mistaken isn’t the anime industry in the US meant to be struggling at the moment? Or am I wrong?
Anyway I rambled to much at this point. Hope that all made sense!
